This assumes that you have already installed the Napoleon's Russian Campaign mod.

Find the folder where you have Napoleon's Russian Campaign installed. Your Napoleon's Russian Campaign folder will be inside your HPS Simulations folder. If you are using Windows XP this will probably be inside your HPS Simulations folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\HPS Simulations). If you are running on something more recent than Windows XP, your HPS Simulations folder will probably be somewhere other than your Program Files folder and you'll simply have to find it. I'm not an IT guru so I can't cover every eventuality.

Once you've found your modded Napoleon's Russian Campaign folder, right click on it and select 'copy' from the drop down menu. Move your mouse cursor to an empty space, right-click again, and select 'paste' from the drop-down menu. You'll end up with a folder named 'Copy of Napoleon's Russian Campaign'. Rename it 'Retreat from Moscow'.

Copy the Retreat from Moscow mod folder and paste it into your HPS Simulations folder. It will overwrite part of the contents of the Retreat from Moscow folder that you just made in your HPS Simulations folder. Go inside the Retreat from Moscow folder and find the application file. It looks like a French flag when you have thumbnails turned on and has the uninformative name 'cpu'. Right-click on it, create a shortcut, and move the shortcut to your desktop. The reason you just did that is so you'll have a shortcut that will launch Retreat from Moscow as opposed to Napoleon's Russian Campaign. Rename the new shortcut icon on your desktop to something like 'Retreat from Moscow', and change the icon by going right-clicking on it, going into Properties, and navigating through the drop down menu to the Desktop Icon inside of 'Retreat from Moscow'.

A NOTE ON UPDATING 'Retreat from Moscow'

In order to save space, the only files inside the Retreat from Moscow mod are ones that it DOES NOT have in common with Napoleon's Russian Campaign. You can repeat the basic installation procedure outlined above for updates, but a better way, if you already have Retreat from Moscow installed, is to simply apply the contents of the Napoleon's Russian Campaign to the Retreat from Moscow folder inside your HPS folder, and then, when Retreat from Moscow looks exactly like Napoleon's Russian Campaign, apply the Retreat from Moscow update to your Retreat from Moscow folder.

If any of this isn't clear, please do not hesitate to contact me and I'll try to walk you through it.
